Dr. Randy De Young was born and raised in West Michigan. He attended South Christian High School followed by Grand Valley State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biology. Dr. De Young earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with honors from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2021, in the top 3% of his class. He was inducted into the Nu Nu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for his high academic achievement.
Dr. De Young has traveled abroad providing dental care to underserved populations both in Honduras and The Dominican Republic. Following dental school he attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and furthering his education while practicing dentistry at the Dayton VA Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. De Young is experienced with all levels of general dentistry as well as advanced surgical techniques including dental implant placement. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. De Young is passionate about continuing education and has completed courses with the L.D. Pankey Institute - a world wide renowned education center focusing on improving patient outcomes.
Dr. De Young enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as being active outdoors and on the family hobby farm. He is very excited to be back home and providing comprehensive dental care to the great people of West Michigan!
